God has been so good to me so far as I start my summer here in Chatt. He has blessed me with a great new family and opportunities to serve the community. It is so beautiful down here- it has been so fun to drive around with the top down, take in the sunshine and landscape around me. The mountains surrounding and making up the city are breath-taking. Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to a block party to see how my aunt and uncles church is reaching out to the community of Chattanooga. At night we headed to McKay's used bookstore and stopped by the national cemetery on the way home. On Memorial Day, it is so incredible to see this cemetery and think of all the lives lost to give our country the freedom we have. I am so grateful for all the troops protecting and maintaining our rights, and putting their lives on the line in order to do so- what an amazing sacrifice.
