My Weekend Review...

Well, I sure had a great weekend here in Chattanooga. Saturday, I relaxed and spent the day at a Young Life Camp down at Vesper Point. Here, the urban kids from the city got to spend a week at camp, learn of Jesus' love for them and declare a relationship with him. I have never been to summer camp or a Young Life camp, so the experience was completely new to me. First we spent some time down in the river; watched the kids tube, swim, and do the blob. My aunt and I took the kayaks out and that was fun as always. :] The night was filled with crazy events and skits thrown by the Young-Life staff and ended with a bonfire and fireworks. I was blessed to take part in this camp and see how God is working in the hearts of the children in Chattanooga.

Sunday, I went to church in the morning with Uncle Dale, then went down to the market to check out the swing scene. Let's just say it's got nothing on Rosa Park's Circle, but I really enjoyed the band and the female singer (she was amazing). I danced with one guy, but could not follow him whatsoever. I guess I'm just used to the way Matt dances. :]

Yesterday I met my aunt at a great coffee shop and cafe called Rembrandt's for lunch. It was a great place, located right in the art district, surrounded by art, sculpture gardens and other cute shops. Last night I went out to help my Aunt and Uncle deliver a dresser to one of their friends and ended up playing with three great little girls at the house. They thought it was so fun to jump on my back and have them chase them, all while their evil dog kept chasing me and looked as if he was going to bite my ankles. I like dogs, but not dogs that chase after me and threaten to bite me.

Today I had my interview (it got moved) and it went really well, and I am feeling very hopeful about this job! I will let you all know when and where if they call me back. I also have a different interview tomorrow, so I'll keep my fingers crossed! Thanks again for all your prayers!
